The multidimensional therapeutic potential of rumex nepalensis: A comprehensive review

Rumex nepalensis spreng. (Polygonaceae), sometimes known as Nepal Dock, has broad-spectrum therapeutic qualities and has been used in traditional medicine for millennia. This plant's extracts and metabolites are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antipyretic, analgesic, purgative, anti-algal, central nervous system depressant, wound healing, and skeletal muscle relaxant. The leaves of this shrub are edible and strong in antioxidants. It has the potential to be a rich source of treatment against major illnesses due to its extraordinary biological activity.
