Collection of plants of the genus Melocactus (Tourn.) Link et Otto (Cactaceae Juss.) and peculiarities of their reproduction

Taxonomic composition of Melocactus collection at O.V. Fomin Botanical Garden, as well as peculiarities of their reproduction under the conditions of introduction has been considered. Rare and threatened Melocactus species in the collection were identified.
